This is a story of two seeds - both planted on the same day, in the same soil, in the same garden bed. One has a growth mindset-with a curious desire to grow, the other does not. After watching, think about what the message of the story is. How could you apply this to your everyday?
Meesha and Lucas are in a maths lesson. Meesha is happy to take on the challenges set by the teacher, but Lucas is more reluctant. Meesha has a growth mindset, and Lucas's is more fixed.
After watching the clip think about ways in which you could develop a growth mindset. What could you say when you're struggling on something?
Watch as the camera tracks an act of kindness as its passed from one individual to the next and manages to boomerang back to the person who set it into motion.
Imagine you did something kind, this may inspire that person to do something kind to another.
Try to do something kind today and see if the kindness is passed on.
What exactly is kindness? What is it to be kind? Is it being helpful? Being polite? Does it have to be a big act to be more kind? Well maybe the smallest act may have the biggest impact.
After watching this video, write a list of times you have been kind, and ways in which you will try to be kind in the future.
