KNOWSLEY SAFARI PARK - FOOT TOUR

We hatched 6 chicks and built them some chick houses.

THE VIKINGS - we have studied The Vikings this half term. We have looked at what He Vikings ate and drank and made our own Viking soda bread. We have designed and made our own Longboats. We have also looked at The Norse Language and wrote our names n Runes.

Lowbank Ground residential trip

Some of Beech class went to the Lake District for 3 days. We took part in lots of new experiences such as ghyll scrambling, canoeing across Coniston lake, mountain walking, bush craft and team building activities. A fun time was had by everyone and lots of memories made!

The end to an exciting & exhausting week!

We went for a walk to the local park with our class dog Nelly. We found sticks to create a den for Nelly.

Theraplay games-blind man’s bluff. Our favourite!

We have been looking at how to keep yourself and others safe on Bonfire night, the boys then tried some sparklers outside using carrots to keep their hands safe, and made firework biscuits.

Spooky Tour 2021: We visited Pendle Hill, Whaley Abbey and Salmesbury Hall as part of our end of half term trip. We learnt a lot about past events liked to Halloween such ax the pendle witches. We saw grave stones and visited the place Henry the 8th killed a lot of monks because they wouldn’t change religion. We also went to see if we could spot the Legend which is the white lady but unfortunately no one saw her.

We had some visitors into school who showed us lots of artifacts from the Stone Age period.
