In science we are learning about light, the children went around school looking for an object that projects its own light 💡
Theraplay this morning, working in twos the children threw a plastic bag in the air while their partner tried to hit it with a bean bag.
Spring 1
This term we have a focus of Our Local Area. We are looking at locating Wigan on a map, how Wigan has changed over time and the contributions of famous Wigan people.

Autumn 2
During this term we have been looking at World War II. We have been exploring the lives of evacuees, the contributions of women and how the war changed Europe.
We enjoyed the story of Goodnight Mr Tom and used this story to develop a lot of our English skills.

Autumn 1
During ICT this term we have been working on internet safety and how to be safe online.
During art this term, we have made our own coaster using a DIY kit in the style of Roman Mosaics.
During science this term we have looked at living things and their habitats and as a side project we have been taking weekly photos of how the trees are changing throughout autumn.
Theraplay
Durring Theraplay this week we have been working on senesces. In this session we looked at touch and feeling out for certain shaped puzzle pieces then putting them in the right space.
