Soluble or insoluble?

In Geography, we compared our local area to The Lake District. We then chose ingredients from both places to design and make ice-cream. We were also taught how to use equipment safely and be hygienic

in English, we analysed different advertisements and identified how to be persuasive. Then we created our own advertisements.

Remembrance Day 11th November 2021

During our Science topic ‘Earth and Space’ we have created our own Solar System using fruit and vegetables; created the terrain of different planets using our art skills; and then eat Jupiter!

Earth and Space

In history we are currently learning about the Bronze Age. Our visitors taught us about the Stone Age and what changes happened before the beginning of the Bronze Age.

Stone Age Day

On Roald Dahl Day, we completed research and a quiz about Roald Dahl and his books. Then we played with snozzcumber slime, made dream art and found ways to sort the bugs from James and the Giant Peach.

In the afternoon, Elm class became a kitchen where we cooked up Bruce Bogtrotter’s Chocolate cake and George’s Marvellous Medicine!
