Autumn Term

Here is a look at what beech class have been doing in the first half of autumn term.......

This half term in our Topic we have been learning about the Ancient Egyptians , we have mummified fruit, made our own vehicles to transport pyramids and made our own papyrus paper and drew our own version of and Egyptian God.

In our maths this term we have been learning about weight using kilograms and grams. We have also been looking at more than and less than. We really enjoyed baking cakes .

In our English we looked at a fictional narratives, specially focussing on comic books. We created a story and then designed and made comic books that would tell our stories without using words.
We also looked at autobiographies and biographies and even read parts of Anne Frank’s diary. We then created our own autobiography or biography.
