World Book Day 2023
Christmas in Elm Class
During our Christmas preparations we recognised that this is a time for giving. We made hot chocolate reindeers to sell and raise money for The Brick; we were Shoebox Fairies and added presents to a shoe-box for a child our age; we performed our nativity (using puppets and our interview techniques; not forgetting a visit from Father Christmas!
Building relationships in Elm Class
Why do we need rules?
We discussed rules and why we think they are necessary. In our PSHE lessons we identified the feelings that we could feel if there were no rules in school, at home or in society. During RE we considered rules in the Creation story and from that created our own Creation story art.
At the end of the unit, we considered our class rules and how to make Team Elm a safe, calm and happy place to play and learn.
