School Council and Eco Club
Welcome to the School Council page. Here you can find information about what we have been up to. The School Council is made up of a representative from each class and they meet once a week with Mr Carr and Ms Smith to discuss how to improve the school and raise as well as making the school a more eco-friendly place.
As part of the Eco Club the children have completed an environmental audit of the school. They are aiming to achieve the Eco-Schools Green Flag Award. They have chosen to focus on reducing waste and energy use as well as improving biodiversity within the school.

This term we are working on improving and updating our outdoor areas.
Autumn 2023
We collected donations for Ashton Pantry.
Children in need 2022
At Willow Grove we have been doing a lot of fundraising and different activities to raise money for Children in need. We had the sponge throw, aeroplane race, pin the bandanna on Pudsey, pizza sales, treasure hunts, car wash, guess how many toys are in the jar, guess the name of the bear, sponsored football match. All the children had a brilliant day and tried really hard to raise as much money as possible. In total across the school we raised £258.01.
Earth Day 2022
We celebrated Earth Day with lots of activities around school. Each class took part in activities to promote a more sustainable future.
Look at our amazing bird feeders we have made to attract more birds to school grounds.
