Within the ethos of the school and the curriculum we are actively promoting the rules of democracy, rules of law, individual liberty, mutual respect and tolerance of all with different faiths and beliefs.
Being mindful of our school values we are supporting, guiding and encouraging our pupils to become active citizens in our world by encouraging positive contributions to the school community, to the local community we live in and to the wider society.
Willow Grove offers the pupils a range of experiences to promote the British Values.
Such activities include a broad and balanced History curriculum, themed learning weeks and days celebrating special occasions in the British calendar, an active school council and class council and a community of people promoting respect, tolerance and an understanding of the needs of others.
