English: We read Roald Dahl George’s Marvellous Medicine. The children enjoyed making their own medicine, discussing the disgusting ingredients and effect their medicine would have.

Mixing potions

Theraplay;

We have been working hard on building relationship’s through play, strengthening bonds between the children and staff.

Topic;

We have been learning about the Stone Age. How early humans lived, communicated and the tools they used to survive.

Science:

We have been looking at animal habitats and family groups. The children have learned where certain species would live, the differences between animals and how to identify them using their characteristic’s.

Design technology:

The children enjoy baking and trying new foods. We use this time to discuss food hygiene and introduce measurements.
