Welcome to the Willow Grove Student Leadership page. Here at Willow Grove, we believe that everyone is a leader, regardless of their position in school. We all lead in different ways. The Student Leadership Council is made up of a representative from each class and they meet weekly, in The Nest. 

Our Student Leadership Council reinforces our school values.

• Be Safe: Leadership includes creating a safe environment for all. The council leads initiatives around wellbeing, inclusivity, and student safety, showing that student voices matter in building a safe school culture.

• Be Kind: By encouraging students to lead with empathy, support peers, and model respectful behaviour, our leadership council promotes kindness through actions and peer influence.

• Be Positive: Our leadership-focused group encourages positivity by celebrating achievements, supporting school spirit, and helping peers through challenges—our student leaders try to uplift and inspire others.

Focuses on active contribution, not just representation

Traditional school councils often focus on voicing opinions or organising events. Our Student Leadership Council goes further: it cultivates skills such as collaboration, initiative, problem-solving, and resilience. Students learn not only to share ideas but to lead projects, support others, and bring about positive change at Willow Grove.
