You can find our School Uniform Policy here. However, a summary is provided below.

At Willow Grove, we are mindful that some of our children have sensory issues with clothing, so we are adaptable in terms of school uniform.

For example, crew neck T-shirts instead of polo collars, and black trainers/pumps as a more comfortable alternative to black school shoes. However, there is an expectation that the correct uniform and colours will be worn.

Please see the list below:

Navy blue sweatshirt or cardigan – either school logo or plain. No sports branding.

Yellow or pale blue polo shirt – either school logo or plain. No sports branding. Crew neck T-shirts can also be worn if your child has an issue with polo collars and polo shirt fabric. However, these should still be in school colours and not sportswear.

Grey trousers, skirt, smart grey school shorts, yellow or blue gingham summer dresses. No sports shorts. Joggers can be worn, but these must be un-branded, plain, dark grey and not sports wear. e.g, no branded tracksuit bottoms/shorts.

Grey tights, white, black or grey socks.

All black trainers, no large branded coloured logos. Black pumps, black flat school shoes. No heavy boots or shoes without a "back" in them please. This is due to health and safety.

Please consider carefully any trainers that you are buying for school. Branded trainers can be worn, however these are expensive. Unfortunately, if they are not black with discreet branding/logos, then we will request that different footwear is purchased to be worn for school.

We have a good stock of new school uniform available to order. Please email
enquiries@admin.willowgrove.wigan.sch.uk to order uniform and Mrs Green will contact you to arrange collection. Uniforms can also be purchased from Slaters. 

We also have some gently worn school uniforms available free of charge.

If you have any uniform in good condition that you would like to donate to the school, we are accepting donations.
