At Willow Grove we want to our children to be comfortable and confident with Mathematics to enable them to be able to use and apply their skills and knowledge throughout their school life as they journey into the wider world, leaving school with an understanding of life skills associated with maths. 

In KS1 we follow the NCETM maths framework to support our maths learning. In KS2 we follow White Rose maths, a scheme that is tailored to providing the pupils with small steps of success in their learning. 

We use the Maths Recovery Framework to support our pupils in their understanding of number through the use of interventions.
