Welcome to Oak Class
We are a Year 4 & 5 class.
The class staff are Ms Whitby, Ms Foxwell and Mr Smalley.
Our Year 4 and 5 class provides a calm, nurturing and supportive environment where children can feel safe, valued and ready to learn. We recognise that every child is unique, with their own strengths, interests, communication styles and individual needs, and we adapt our approach to help each pupil thrive. Alongside the academic curriculum, pupils have opportunities for purposeful play, practical activities and shared experiences, supporting the development of communication, social interaction, cooperation, sharing and turn-taking. We provide clear routines, consistent expectations and individualised strategies to help children understand and manage their emotions, develop positive relationships and build confidence. Our aim is to celebrate every achievement, however small, while developing independence, resilience, self-belief and a positive approach to learning.
Please note, PE is on a Tuesday and we would like to all pupils to have their PE kits for this.
